Dr Farida is a Senior Regional officer in Communicable Diseases section of Public Health & Policies, Health Authority, Abu Dhabi. She is a medical graduate from United Arab Emirates University - Al Ain. She has also served as Head of Infectious Diseases control section, Preventive Medicine Dept. Health Authority. She is a Member of Visa Screening Team in HAAD for planning of the new visa screening system for the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Also she works as an HIV program leader and coordinator of series of workshops aimed for the transformation of the community response towards HIV. She has organized various communicable diseases campaigns.
