- Karine Antoniades is a holder of a Masters Degree in Nutrition/ and holder of a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the American University of Beirut. Did in depth research on the beneficial effects of ¦Ø-3 fatty acids on heart health.
- Started her Career in Lebanon in Nutrition Research, Clinical and Hospital Dietetics and Nutrition Communication.
- Is working for Nestle Middle East since 2002. Karine is the Nutrition, Health and Wellness Manager for Nestle Middle East - based in the head office in Dubai.
- At Nestle, she acts as an in-house Nutrition Expert supporting the Nestle business for both Corporate and Brand activities. She is responsible to drive, implement and support all Nutrition related initiatives for the Middle East from product nutrition profile recommendations, continuous improvement and updates, to product innovation and renovation, Nutrition Labeling, Nutrition Education & Communication, Community Nutrition & Health Projects. Such Community Projects and initiatives touched on several Nutrition & Lifestyle awareness: Bone Health and Osteoporosis Prevention, Balanced Nutrition during Growing years, Weight Management, Importance of regular Physical Activity, Toddler Nutrition, Importance of Breakfast, Healthy Cooking and more.
- Karine rolled out a Nutrition Training for all Nestle Middle East employees, that aims at encouraging and empowering all Nestle people to embrace Nutrition as part of their daily life, provide them knowledge about nutrition and healthy diet, and helping them lead a healthy lifestyle and implement Nutrition in their business.
- She is also a member of the Lebanese Association of Nutrition and Food Sciences, and is a former member of its Executive Committee.
